Our Story: From a Single Paintbrush to the "Dog Parent" Uniform

The Early Days
Bowie Creations started over 10 years ago with paintbrushes and a pile of plain jute bags. I’ve always believed that the best things in life are personal, and there was something so special about creating a bag that was uniquely yours. Ten years later, those jute bags remain the heartbeat of my shop and my absolute bestsellers. They’ve carried groceries, beach gear, and—most importantly—countless dog treats across the UK.

The "In-Between" Years
As the business grew, we expanded into clothing. For a while, the designs were all over the place! I was trying to do everything for everyone, and in the process, I lost that "spark" that made my bags so special. I was a maker searching for a muse.

The "Aha!" Moment (and Four Paws)
Everything snapped into focus when a certain four-legged friend joined my family. Suddenly, my life revolved around muddy trail walks, morning cuddles, and the unique, wonderful chaos that comes with being a dog parent.
I realized I didn't need to design for "everyone." I wanted to design for us—the people who have dog hair on their sofas and a permanent spot in their hearts for their pups.

Bowie Creations Today
I decided to take ten years of personalization experience and "niche down" into what I love most. I’ve refined my clothing line to focus on high-quality, personalized sweatshirts and tees that celebrate the bond we share with our dogs.
Today, Bowie Creations is the home of the "Dog Parent Uniform." We still hand-craft the personalized jute bags you’ve loved for a decade (perfect for holding leads, treats and tennis balls!), but now we’ve got the cozy, custom clothing to match.
It took ten years and a very special dog to get here, but I finally feel like we’re home. Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
